Hillsborough County, Florida -- Former Hillsborough County Attorney, Renee Lee is admitting to the Florida Bar she is a liar.
Lee resigned instead of risking being fired after the 10 News investigators uncovered she gave herself a two percent raise without telling her bosses, and then lied to them about a meeting she had with former Commissioner Kevin White who is in federal prison on bribery charges.

Lee entered the guilty plea to lying because it would have been almost impossible to deny it, as we caught her red-handed in the lie.
When Lee met with County Commissioner Kevin White, he had not yet been convicted on taking bribes, but he was being sued by the County.
Lee was spotted at lunch with White and when questioned about it by a county commissioner, Lee said she was having lunch with a friend and bumped into White.
However, text messages we uncovered between the two showing the lunch was planned in advance and the pair talked alone for a half hour without Lee's friend being at the restaurant.
Lee, who had been branded a liar by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for her lack of candor in giving herself the raise, also sent White a text saying, "I've seen [10 News Investigator Mike] Deeson's story about our lunch, I'm not going to lie about our meeting" -- but she did!
In addition to a public reprimand, Lee has to pay $1,700 in court costs. The deal has to be approved by the Florida Supreme Court.
