A 6-foot gator doesn't like being poked and prodded, but when a trapper brings in the noose, it's on like Donkey Kong.

Craig Snyder's mom was startled by a scaly visitor in the carport. "Most of his body was under the table. As she kicks this back, he whips his tail out to hit her," said Snyder.

And that's all it takes for his mom to scram. Craig calls a trapper and the fight is on. "When the trapper pulled the snare, he knocked these old clubs down and the gator grabbed onto the golf bag instantly."

From there, the trapper drags the gator out onto the lawn. The problem? Getting the gator to unhook its jaws from the golf bag.  Until that happens, it can't be wrangled. Both Craig and the trapper use poles to pry the gator's jaws open to release the bag, but that is easier said than done. After several tries, success, and all that's left is the formalities.

"I love gators. I've seen them on TV hundreds of times. I think they're amazing. Always wanted to have that kind of interaction, and here it is happening in my own house."
