St. Petersburg, Florida -- Dozens turned out over the weekend in St. Petersburg to protest the state's Stand Your Ground law.

It is the second march in recent months organized by the National Christian League of Councils (NCLC).

"We're going to keep on marching, we're going to keep on challenging these laws in the court system until justice is rendered," says Sevell Brown, one of the march's organizers.

And it's possible changes may be coming to Stand Your Ground. Florida House speaker Will Weatherford has called for a legislative hearing to review the law.  No date has been set, but the hearing is expected to be held during committee week this fall.

Meanwhile, a community forum about the Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman case is scheduled for later this week at the University of South Florida's Patel Center for Global Solutions.

The panel style discussion will the Stand Your Ground law, media coverage, and how the nation can move forward.

It'll be held on Thursday, August  8 at 7 p.m. It's free and open to the public.
