Tampa, Florida - So just how racy is the shirtless photo FBI special agent Fred Humphries sent to Tampa socialite Jill Kelley? You can now judge for yourself as The Seattle Times says it has obtained a copy of the picture.
The Times says Humphries sent the photograph to Kelley and others, including one of the paper's own reporters, in an email Sept. 9, 2010.
The subject line read: "Which one is Fred?" The newspaper says it shows "Humphries - bald, muscular and shirtless - standing between a pair of equally buff and bullet-ridden target dummies on a shooting range."
Humphries' lawyer doesn't think it's a big deal, saying the FBI agent met Kelley several years ago and is considered a family friend.
"What the lawyer told us yesterday was that the photo was sent several years ago, sort of in jest as sort of a joke. The families send things back and forth with each other and these photos were with dummies or whatever and that there had been lots of photos that had gone back and forth," said New York Times reporter Michael S. Schmidt, who helped reveal Humphries' identity on Wednesday as part of the David Petraeus sex scandal.
Spirit Airlines however thinks the photo is a big enough deal that they are already trying to cash in on the sensational story with an ad featuring a "shirtless special agent."

Humphries, who lives in Dover and is married with two sons, is no stranger to the spotlight.
The University of Tampa graduate, who joined the FBI in 1997, fatally shot a knife-wielding man at the gate of MacDill Air Force Base two years ago. It was later determined the shooting was justified.
Before that, Humphries testified in the trial of Youssef Megahed, the University of South Florida student accused of transporting terrorist weapons.
Humphries is also credited with helping to stop a plot to blow up LAX in 1999.
On Thursday, no one answered the door at Humphries home and neighbors weren't interested in talking.
The photograph helped land Humphries in hot water. The FBI is investigating Humphries for talking with Republican lawmakers about the investigation into harassing emails that Kelley received from Petraeus's biographer and mistress.
The Associated Press contributed to this report.
