Tampa, Florida - It's a British Pub with a menu that has an international feel. Co-owners Wilton Morley and Rick Craig opened Mad Dogs and Englishmen back in 1991.
Fish and Chips and Shepherd's Pie are on the menu, as well as some other dishes including Red Thai Curry Shrimp, Tuna Tar Tar and Pan Seared Scallops. There is plenty to drink from the bar, including a nice wine selection.
This south Tampa favorite has a warm feel as you walk in, the decor is distinctly British with many pictures of celebrities and musicians hanging on the wall.
Wilton's father was the British actor Robert Morley, who was in dozens of Hollywood movies including The African Queen with Humphrey Bogart and Katharine Hepburn.
Wilton also produced many stage shows in Australia early on and gave a young actor named Russell Crowe his first job in show business.
