KINGMAN, Kan (KWCH) - A wind farm near Harper adopted a stray dog that had been hanging around for a few days on the job site. They gave him water and food and he in return gave them some fun new company. They named their new friend Titan, short for Titanium.
Tuesday night Titan came back after being out all day with serious injuries to his eyes and mouth. An employee at the wind farm took him to the vet for help.

During the exam the doctor found what she believed was a .38 caliber bullet lodged in his throat. She determined the entry point was directly above his right eye. The vet removed the bullet.
Titan is staying with his temporary family on antibiotics and painkillers until he is feeling better to go back to the wind farm to play.
"He is an absolute sweetie of a dog and has been hanging out with me and my two pugs with no problems." Says the care takers.
They are really hoping that someone will be able to find him a permanent and loving home.
