Washington, D.C. -- Children's folding beach chairs made in China for Downeast Concepts, also known as Backyard and Beyond, have been recalled by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
The CPSC said the recalled chairs have exposed, sharp metal rivets that pose a laceration hazard.
A 21-month old girl who fell on the chair cut her forehead and needed stitches, the CPSC said.
Consumers who bought the chairs are advised to stop using them, and return them for a full refund.
