Clearwater, Florida – It is a scene we see played out year after year, shoppers up at the crack of dawn trying to nab the best deal.
But don't wait for the newspaper ads to find out whose got the best sale, simply just jump online and check out sites like:
The sites will show you what stores like Best Buy, Target, RadioShack, Toys ”R” Us and others will be offering shoppers the day after Thanksgiving.
Consumer Products online has already been compiling a list of items it says may be among the best deals, and this year the magazine says you will find lots of TV's for cheap prices. Take for example Best Buy, which will be selling a 42-inch plasma TV by Panasonic on Black Friday for $899.
Consumer Products says Target will also have some good buys on Black Friday like a Polaroid video camcorder for $69, a Kodak 8-megapixel digital camera for $89 and a digital picture frame for $49. K-Mart’s doorbusters this year include a 20-inch Sylvania LCD TV for just $135.
But before you get too excited, Anna Huddleston-Aycock, an investigator with Pinellas County Justice and Consumer Services say "if they read it, they will notice many of the ads state limited quantities per store, limited sale hours, no rain checks, no price matching, no availability in some stores and some of the items will state underneath it's available online only."
So check out the fine print, do some planning and you may have a much more enjoyable Black Friday.
