Temple Terrace, Florida - Nearly two years after the disappearance of Temple Terrace resident Sandra Prince, investigators are searching underground, behind and under a South Tampa home.
The house along the 3900 block of Vasconia Street was built by Prince's former boyfriend Earl Pippen. Police are looking into the timing of construction and say the project began around the time of Prince's disappearance.
"My biggest concern would be if there is a dead girl in the back yard and he was the one who put her there," says Brennan Calkins who was caught off guard by the flood of police and news reporters in her nightborhood.
Pippin was named a "person of interest" by police but according to his attorney, passed a lie detector test saying he had no knowledge of what happened to his former girlfriend.
"He's the person who reported her missing, he wants her found, and they have not a shred of evidence against him," says Paul Sisco, Pippin's attorney.
Sandra Prince vanished from her Temple Terrace home around New Year's 2006 and has not been seen since. The search of the South Tampa home is expected to last several days.
