Tampa, Florida - Troubled Rays outfielder Elijah Dukes is in trouble once again.
This time he's being charged with violating a domestic protective order by allegedly calling his estranged wife, NiShea Gilbert.
The order stated that Dukes could not make any contact with his wife for one year.
Gilbert claims Dukes called her home on July 23 to talk to his children.
The charge is a misdemeanor, punishable up to one year in jail.
Dukes is also scheduled to appear in court today on a previous marijuana possession charge.
