Pinellas County, Florida - We're getting our first look at undercover tape of a middle-school principal buying drugs in his school office. The surveillance video, provided by the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, shows Anthony Giancola making the drug buy and then offering to share the crack cocaine with the undercover cops.
On the tape - the principal also talks about blaming a child if the crack is discovered on campus.
Giancola was principal at Van Buren Middle School. He pleaded guilty to purchasing crack cocaine and is now serving his 364 day sentence.
Court records say Giancola must also serve 3 years probation, including a drug and alcohol evaluation and random urine screenings. Giancola was also ordered to perform 200 hours of community service.
