Tampa, Florida - The "stand your ground" law has been a huge focus as of late in the state of Florida after the verdict came down during the George Zimmerman trial.
A group came together to protest at the capitol and called themselves the Dream Defenders, Jesse Jackson called for a boycott of the state of Florida and even Florida Governor Rick Scott walked out of a press conference avoiding having to talk about it.

Now, according to the Tampa Tribune, State House Speaker Will Weatherford said he would consider legislation changing the law.
In order to do so though, he would have to see a consistent message on what has to be changed. Without that he sees no reason to change the law and no need for a special session.
