Bradenton, Florida -- Manatee County officials are asking for the community's help with what they are calling an emergency situation at Manatee County Animal Services.
The shelter says they are at maximum capacity and can no longer take in any animals. The shelter says it has been receiving approximately seven dogs a day and have no more beds or room for any more.
They are encouraging anyone who is interested in adopting to visit www.mymanatee.org/pets to see all the pets that are available.
They are also asking any other rescue/animal shelters in the Bay area to help alleviate the overcrowding issue by helping take in some of the animals.
