Bern's Steakhouse makes the cut in a national survey conducted by The Daily Meal.
In it's third annual list of the 101 Best Restaurants in America, The Daily Meal's survey landed the legendary Tampa establishment in 60th place, one of only 4 Florida eateries to make the list.
While Bern's had made the list in the first year's survey, it had fallen off last year.
According to Bloomberg News, The Daily Meal had a panel of 174 judges, along with reader recommendations. Voting took into account cuisine, region, and "factors of price, level of "buzz," formality of food and atmosphere, classic status, and epic meal experience offered."
The Daily Meal website stated "We're proud to note that this year we considered more restaurants from an even more geographically diverse area than ever."
The top-rated restaurant was the French Laundry located in Yountville, Calif., while 10 of the top 13 restaurants were in New York.
