Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - The Toronto Blue Jays have claimed pitcher Chad Beck off waivers from Pittsburgh.

The Pirates had claimed Beck from Toronto in October, then designated him for assignment last month.

Beck appeared in 14 games for the Blue Jays last season and had no record with a 6.32 ERA. The right-hander, who turns 28 this month, has a 5.50 ERA in 17 games over the past two seasons with Toronto.
