Stray Showers Possible Thursday, Otherwise Cloudy Skies For Most
Mostly cloudy skies, and an isolated sprinkle or shower possible through the middle of the night
On Thursday look for mostly cloudy skies as we get squeezed between two pieces of energy that is trying to give us a shot as some sprinkles or light showers.
Models are depicting stray shower chances around the Bay Area, with scattered showers for Polk County, as well as the rest of the Heartland Counties. Morning low temperatures will be around 63 degrees, and a high temperature of 77 is forecasted.
Anything we do see is likely to only measure a trace to .10" on average with a few areas east and south of Tampa possibly reaching .20". This time of year we will take what we can get. It's been close to 30 days since there was measurable rain in Tampa, and almost 60 since we have seen a nice soaking.
Friday will start cloudy and turn to partly cloudy skies midday. Nice and warm too with high temperature around 79 degrees.
This weekend will be warm with temps in the low 80's, but a few isolated showers are also possible. Not expecting anything significant, but since it is the weekend, definitely will want to watch to keep an eye on it.
