Tampa, FL-- Nestle alerts customers of an important health risk; they are recalling some of their chocolate milk products after finding traces of Salmonella in various containers.
They say the recall is of their Nestle NESQUIK Chocolate Powder.
The drinks affected are the 10, 21 and 40 ounce canisters, and Nestle has taken them off the shelves.
The company said they were notified by an ingredient supplier that there was a possible presence of salmonella in the calcium carbonate.
So far, there have been no reports of illness.
