Baltimore, MD (Sports Network) - Baltimore Orioles outfielder Nick Markakis
suffered a broken left thumb during Saturday night's 5-4 victory over the New

"I knew it was broken. I knew it as soon as he hit it," Markakis said. "I knew
how it hit me and I couldn't bend my thumb."
