FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida (AP) -- A Broward County grand jury charged three teenagers on Thursday with murder in the fatal beating of a homeless man.
The jury also indicted the teenagers on attempted murder charges in two other beatings of homeless men.
The defendants are Brian Hooks and Thomas Daugherty, both of Plantation, and William Ammons, of Fort Lauderdale.
One of the January 12th attacks was recorded by a security surveillance camera and broadcast on television around the world.
The grand jury charged all three defendants as adults. One is 17 and two are 18.
Prosecutors said the teens face life in prison if convicted.
