(Detroit-WWJ) A judge paves the way for controversial Florida pastor Terry Jones to demonstrate outside a Dearborn mosque, if he still wants to.
Wayne County Circuit Judge Robert Ziolkowski reversed a lower court three-year prohibition on Jones and associate Wayne Sapp that kept them away from the Islamic Center of America.
Jones' plan to demonstrate last April was upended by that court ruling. The preacher subsequently held a sparsely-attended rally in front of Dearborn City Hall.
Jones burned a copy of the Muslim holy book at his Gainesville, Florida, church last March, prompting violent protests in Afghanistan that killed more than a dozen people.
