ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) - A judge has denied a request from Hulk Hogan's son to end his probation early.
Twenty-year-old Nick Bollea is serving five years of probation for causing a 2007 car crash that left his passenger with severe and permanent brain injuries.
The St. Petersburg Times reports the celebrity wrestler's son came from California Friday to ask a judge to end his probation early. The judge said no, but he indicated he would probably grant the request less than a year from now.
Bollea in 2008 pleaded no contest to reckless driving with serious bodily injury. He was sentenced at the time to eight months in jail, plus five years of probation, 500 hours of community service, and court costs.
