Krystal Holloway, who also goes by the name River Cruz, testified on Day 32 of the trial that she and George Anthony met one another in October 2008 at a tent that was put up during the search for Caylee.
Holloway told the jury that she and George Anthony had an intimate relationship. She also said that he came to her home roughly a dozen times.
Then, during Thanksgiving 2008, Holloway said George confided in her that Caylee's death was an accident.
Holloway testified, "He said it was an accident that snowballed out of control. I was in shock. By the time I looked up, his eyes were full of tears."

She added, "I didn't ask him anything further."
In 2010, the police came to Krystal Holloway's home. She was asked by detectives if she had an affair with him. Holloway then gave detectives her cell phone and some letters that George had written to her.
She testified that at first, she lied about the affair because she felt embarrassed. However, she eventually told detectives the truth.
When Caylee's remains were discovered in December 2008, the the relationship with George Anthony ended, Holloway said.
Then, there was the tabloid story that Holloway sold to the National Enquirer. Holloway was paid $4,000 for her story, roughly one week after she told detectives that she didn't have an affair with Casey's father.
During cross-examination, prosecutor Jeff Ashton grilled Holloway.
Ashton accused Holloway of trying to "sensationalize" her story to make some cash.
He further accused Krystal Holloway of befriending the Anthony family, knowing that they were in the spotlight during the time Caylee was missing.
Then, Ashton pointed out that Casey's father never told his alleged mistress that he was there when Caylee's death occurred.
The defense was barred from asking Krystal Holloway about whether she gave George Anthony a financial loan.
After Krystal Hollway's testimony, the jury was taken out of the courtroom when a legal issue arose.
Judge Belvin Perry told the jury that Holloway's statement can not be used as evidence or to prove manner of death. However, her statement can be used to impeach George Anthony's testimony, Judge Perry said.
Earlier in the week, George Anthony denied a relationship with Krystal Holloway.
He testified that he went to her home to console her after she told him she "had a brain tumor."
However, George did admit sending Holloway a text message that said, "Just thinking about you. I need you in my life."
George added that he "needed a lot of the volunteers he had grown close to" and sent many people text messages.
