Orlando, Florida - It's Day 17 of the high-profile murder trial in Orlando.

Casey Anthony is accused of disabling her daughter, Caylee, with Chloroform, suffocating the child with duct tape, then driving around with the child's body in her trunk.

The defense maintains that Caylee drowned in the family swimming pool on June 16, 2008.

The state has been presenting its case for the past three weeks, and the case is now entering into its fourth week. The defense is expected to begin its case possibly at the end of this week.

This morning, a six-year veteran with the FBI, Stephen Shaw, took the stand. Shaw is a hair and fiber examiner for the bureau. He testified for jurors and explained to them that he analyzed hair that was found in Casey's trunk.

In addition, he analyzed samples that were taken from Caylee's skull.

Pictures of the child's skull were entered into evidence Thursday and Friday, showing hair attached to the bone.

The child's remains were found in a wooded area not too far from the Anthonys' home in December 2008.

Shaw explained to jurors that he found on the hairs evidence of decomposition. He also said that he found a higher level of decomposition on Caylee's hairs that were found at the crime scene than the trunk.

However, the defense objected to a Power Point presentation of Shaw's findings of a study performed on 600 hairs from 16 individuals.

Lead defense counsel Jose Baez said that his team was not privy to the study or its contents.

Baez said, "We're at the 11th hour, and the state is [bringing this up.]"

Judge Belvin Perry agreed that it would be an unfair advantage to the state. The defense team had not been shown full color images that were a part of the presentation from the FBI analyst.

Baez told the Judge that members of his defense team were only shown black and white images, and they were not as clear as the ones that were shown in color.
