Tampa, Florida - Less than three months after being dismissed from the USF football team, former running back Mike Ford is in trouble with the law.
Ford was arrested Tuesday by the Sarasota Sheriff's office on a misdemeanor count of domestic battery. Ford, 23, is alleged to have pushed and hit the 31 year old mother of his two children.
In January, Ford rushed for a USF bowl-record of 207 yards in the International Bowl. USF head coach Skip Holtz dismissed him from the Bulls football team in March for an undisclosed violation of team rules.
