Variably cloudy skies across the region will allow for temperatures to reach the 88 - 93 range with high humidity.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are popping up around the area and will gradually increase in coverage as outflow boundaries and sea breezes collide through the remainder of the afternoon into some of our evening.  All activity will gradually dissipate by late evening into tonight.  Today's chance of rain will increase to 70% through the remainder of the day.

Extended Forecast:  Each day is going to feature a solid 60% to 70% chance of showers or thunderstorms.  The only thing I can say for outdoor plans, it won't rain 60-70% of the day... but the chance particularly in the afternoon to evening hours you'll experience a shower or storm is in the 60-70% range.

Marine Forecast...

SSE winds 7 - 14 kts with 2 to 3 foot waves on the gulf and a light chop on the bay.
