Billboards go up, memorial fund set up for slain officers

CBS Outdoor has donated 10 digital billboards to help catch the suspect in the shooting deaths of two Tampa Police officers. Six billboards are in Tampa, two in Orlando and two in South Florida.

These billboards will show a photo of Dontae Morris, the suspect in today's shooting. Morris is wanted on two counts of first degree murder and one count of a felon in possession of a firearm.

The six Tampa CBS Outdoor billboard locations are at:

* I-75, .5 miles North of Sr-60, Brandon
* I-75, 1 mile south of Fowler
* I-4, 850 feet East of Martin Luther King
* Dale Mabry Highway, .5 miles North of Hillsborough Avenue
* Veteran's Expressway, 50 feet north of Waters Avenue
* Hillsborough Avenue, .6 miles East of Race Track Road

There is a $75,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest of the suspect, Dontae Morris. The FBI has put up $50,000 with the U.S. Marshal's Office putting up $10,000. Another $10,000 is from the Police Defense Fund with the final $5,000 from Crime Stoppers.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800 873-TIPS with any information about the suspect.

Donations can also be made to the officers' families at the Tampa Bay Federal Credit Union. Citizens can go to any TBFCU location to make a donation or mail it to the Tampa Police Department, ATTN: The Fallen Officers' Memorial Fund.
