Tampa, Florida - Friends and family gathered today in Tampa to remember a teenage girl killed in a shooting spree.
Investigators say 19-year-old Alyssa Aracich was in a vehicle with two male friends when Andre Watkins, 53, allegedly fired into the car. Aracich was killed. Her two friends escaped. Watkins is accused of shooting two other people and was arrested early Saturday morning at a Plant City gas station.
Aracich was "sassy," strong-minded and loved wearing red and black, her family said. She attended Chamberlain High School and was currently enrolled in United Medical Academy where she was training to be a medical billing specialist.
On Wednesday morning, Aracich's closest friends and family celebrated her memory during a funeral service. Family members described the public service, as being a celebration of Aracich's life.
"She was really fun," says her friend, Nicole Rarigh. "She was definitely a crazy girl that was fun to hang out with and stuff. She's going to be missed a lot."
