Brandon, Florida -- Deputies are trying to find a driver who got out at a traffic light and shot a man in another car. The victim says it was road rage.

Hillsborough Sheriff's deputies say 45-year-old Kristen Craig admits she may have cut off the driver of a white SUV.

They were driving at rush hour, just after 6 p.m., eastbound on Causeway Boulevard heading into Brandon.

Craig says retaliation came when she stopped her Ford pickup at the light at U.S. 301. The SUV stopped, too.

Deputies say a man got out of that SUV and walked up to the passenger side of the pickup.

He pulled out a gun and shot twice into the truck.

From there, the suspect got back into his SUV and sped off, going south on U.S. 301 toward Riverview.

The passenger is 45-year-old William Seago. Bullets hit him in the leg, chest, and arm. Deputies say his injuries are not life-threatening.

Craig and Seago described the shooter as a Hispanic man driving a white, newer-model SUV.

If you think you know who was involved in this attack, call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office or Crimestoppers at 800-873-TIPS.
