We had a few showers and storms this morning, but the first half of the day will be mainly dry. After 1pm today, we will see a few storms pop up along the coast then drift inland through the afternoon. Rain chance will be 30%. It is already warm and muggy. SW winds mean it won't be quite as hot temperature-wise, but it will be very muggy. Heat index values are already near 100 and will be 105-110 this afternoon.
Rain chances go up tomorrow as moisture from a tropical wave moves in from the south. Rain will be heavy at times both Thursday and Friday, especially each afternoon.
