A return of the ESE winds means more typical afternoon showers and storms this week.  Those winds will be weak today so the seabreeze will get going early pushing storms inland this afternoon.  A couple of storms will drift back toward the coast this afternoon but that trend doesn't really get going until tomorrow when the ESE winds take over.  You can pretty much set your clock to the afternoon storms for much of this week. It will be warm with highs in the low 90s.

Monday Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 91. Heat index values as high as 98. East northeast wind around 5 mph becoming light and variable in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Tuesday Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 93. East southeast wind 5 to 7 mph becoming calm in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Wednesday Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 92. East southeast wind 5 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%

Thursday Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 92. Southeast wind 3 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Friday Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 91. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
