St. Petersburg, Florida -- Jennifer Mee, the St. Petersburg teen who gained national attention back in 2007 with a case of the hiccups is now charged with first degree murder.
As a 15-year old on national news shows, Jennifer Mee looked like an innocent high school student.

She suffered for five straight weeks with a condition of constant hiccups that doctors couldn't cure. Friends called her the "hiccup chick" and her hiccups sometimes came at a pace of nearly 50 hiccups per minute.
To see her now, pictured in a mugshot, writing on her crude MySpace page, and facing murder charges, she's almost unrecognizable.
St. Petersburg Police say Mee worked with two men to rob a 22-year-old man Sunday night. During the robbery, that man, Shannon Griffin, was shot and killed.
Mee, Lamont Newton, and Laron Raiford all face first degree murder charges.
Police say it was Mee who lured Griffin to an empty, for-sale home on 7th Street N., just north of Downtown St. Pete.
Detectives say Raiford and Newton robbed Griffin at gunpoint. After the hold-up, investigators say Griffin struggled with one of the suspects, and Griffin was shot and killed.
Police say all three suspects admitted their involvement.
Mee's mother, Rachel Robidoux -- who was at her daughter's side during the hiccup ordeal -- called into the M.J. Morning Show on Monday morning.
She was crying and still in shock over her daughter's arrest. "I said for a while now that her case of the hiccups wasn't a case of the hiccups -- it was a curse of the hiccups," Robidoux said.
"She's a loveable little girl who would not hurt a fly and where things went wrong, I don't know," she continued.
"Knowing Jennifer the way I know her, I don't think she knew what was going to happen. Because that's not Jennifer. She's not out to hurt anybody, she would help someone before she said a nasty thing about them."
A MySpace page apparently belonging to Mee says she's a "diva," which she explains is a female "hustla." Her city is listed as "St. Pistol, FL" and her mood is described with a profane phrase.
A document obtained by 10 News (.PDF) says Griffin was shot three times in the chest and once in the shoulder -- but it is not clear who squeezed the trigger.
Mee and her two fellow suspects are set to face a judge at the Pinellas County Jail on Monday.
Mee appeared on several national TV shows when she suffered from weeks of hiccup spasms in 2007. Join a discussion about the arrest on MomsLikeMe.com.
