The Coast Guard's rescue of Nick Schuyler
Tampa, Florida - It's a Bay area man's story of survival that everyone around the country has been waiting to hear for months. And finally he's breaking his silence.
You may remember back in March former University of South Florida football player Nick Schuyler survived a capsized boat 35 miles south of Clearwater in the Gulf of Mexico.
Three of his friends died at sea, while Schuyler clinged to the boats motor for two days until he was rescued. Schuyler's friends were all athletes. Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers Marquis Cooper and Corey Smith, and former University of South Florida player Will Bleakley. Their bodies were never found.
Since that tragedy, Schuyler has refused to talk to media - until now. Reports say he'll now tell his story to HBO's Real Sports. It airs August 18.
