Ruskin, Florida - Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies have arrested a 25-year-old man, accused of breaking into a Ruskin mobile home this morning and trying to kill another man.

Investigators say Joel Husebo dressed in black, donned rubber gloves and then broke into the trailer. Husebo reportedly stabbed 58-year-old Louis Wedge seven times in the chest and stomach. Friends heard Wedge screaming and ran to help.

Deputies say the witnesses were able to chase, catch and restrain Husebo until they arrived on the scene. Investigators say Husebo was still wearing the gloves covered in the victim's blood. Wedge was flown to Tampa General Hospital for critical injuries.

Husebo has been charged with Attempted First Degree Murder.

Detectives say Husebo and Wedge know each other and that the suspect had borrowed money from the victim in the past.
