Over 800 counterfeit DVDs found in Robert Jackson's trunk

Winter Haven, Florida -- A Poinciana man pulled over during routine traffic stop was caught with over 800 counterfeit DVDs in the truck of his car.

On March 2 around 8:20 p.m., Winter Haven Police officers pulled over a vehicle seen heading on Avenue G without headlights.

Police say the driver, 25-year-old Robert Lee Jackson, was knowingly driving with a suspended license and when they searched his vehicle found more than 800 counterfeit DVDs of movies, including those currently being show in theaters.

All totaled, there were multiple copies of 200 movie titles, which included Zero Dark Thirty, Lincoln, Identity Theft, Argo and Snitch.

Jackson was arrested and charged with counterfeit of private labels and driving while license suspended.

Police say Jackson has a long criminal history, which includes time in a Florida State Prison for counterfeiting movies/music. Jackson has also been arrested for multiple counts of drug possession, armed robbery, larceny, domestic battery, resisting arrest and driving while license suspended.
