TAMPA, Florida -- Detectives are looking for two burglars who stole a purse by smashing the front passenger window of a silver Honda at the Pin Chaser Bowling Alley in Tampa.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said the crime happened on Saturday, Dec. 29 at around 1:50 p.m. The victim's purse was hidden inside the center console, but by the time she came out of the bowling alley, deputies say the burglars were already using her credit card at a Hess Gas Station and T.G.I. Friday's on W. Hillsborough Avenue.
The men took off from the restaurant in a newer model white Dodge Charger with chrome wheels and dark tinted windows. Deputies say it's possible there was a woman in the car with them.
Both suspects are described as black men in their early 20s, 5'9" and 5'11", 170-190 lbs. One had a shaved head and was wearing a navy blue shirt. The other had short braids, brown prescription glasses, a white tank top, basketball shorts, and orange Nike shoes.
