Hernando Co., FL-- The man arrested in connection with a total of 11 fast food and pizza restaurant robberies has been linked to a similar crime at a Domino's Pizza in Spring Hill.

Officials arrested Demetrius Bowers, 28, last Tuesday, November 20, after finding his DNA on a ski mask left at one of the many crime scenes.

Deputies say eight of the crimes had the same method, and they believed the same suspects were involved.  In the robberies, the suspect threw a brick through the glass door of the business at closing time and robbed the employees at gun point.

Since his arrest last week, officials are saying Bowers' cell phone was linked to several robbery locations, including the Domino's Pizza location in Spring Hill.

Various investigating agencies were involved, including the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, the Tampa Police Department, the Largo Police Department, and the Hernando County Sheriff's Office- as the crimes spanned multiple counties.
