Palm Harbor, Florida-- The 11-month investigation of a stolen iPad from Dunedin Middle School ended today with the arrest of a teacher, 34-year-old Julia King.
The iPad was reported stolen in September of 2011. Officials say seven months later, on April 26, King pawned the iPad at a local Best Buy.
A routine pawn inquiry by detectives on May 8 reportedly revealed that King sold it for $145.
Detectives arrested King around 2:20 this afternoon at her home in Palm Harbor, and charged her with Dealing in Stolen Property.
According to deputies, King originally taught at Dunedin Middle School and later transferred to East Lake High School.
