Elderly wheelchair-bound man robbed outside St. Petersburg Walgreens pharmacy

St. Petersburg, Florida -- St. Pete Police are searching for the man who robbed an elderly man restricted to a wheelchair as he was leaving a Walgreens on Aug. 7.

Police say around 5:30 p.m., the suspect followed the 84-year-old man out of the store in the 2100 block of 66th Street N and into the parking lot. He then bumped into the man nearly knocking him over and ripped his wallet off of his lap and fled the area on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male, 25-35 years old, 5'10" to 6'0", 160-170 pounds and was last seen wearing a black and white horizontal striped polo shirt, jeans and a black baseball cap with an unknown logo.
