In the first incident, Lakeland Police say officers patrolling the area of East Parker Street and Alicia Road overheard suspicious noises coming from an area behind several closed businesses. When they went to find out what the noises were, they saw two men--later identified as Justin Benton, 19, and Jason Carroll, 19--inside a fenced area behind the Scuba Etcetera trying to conceal themselves.

When the officers approached, the men jumped into a swimming pool. The officers ordered them out of the pool and took them into custody. Both men were charged with Burglary, and Benton was also charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

In the second incident, officers responded to reports of a vehicle burglary in the 1300 block of Lakeland Hills Boulevard. Witnesses gave officers information on the man--later identified as Ryan Hyder, 19--they saw rummaging through the vehicle.

When they approached Hyder, he quickly fled from the area but was found shortly after. Hyder has been charged with Burglary.

The third incident occurred at Lorenzo Auto Repair on E. Main Street around 12:45 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers located three men inside the enclosed curtilage of the business, which was closed at the time. The investigation revealed that the men--later identified as Julius Bradford, 28, Christopher Calloway, 28, Brandon Terrell, 23--were attempting to remove wheels and tires from a vehicle parked in front of the business.

They were charged with Burglary and Grand Theft. The approximate value of the wheels and tires is $4,000.
