St. Petersburg, Florida -- St. Petersburg detectives investigating a home invasion robbery on June 5 now say it bears similarities with the two committed on June 19.

Detectives say they have obtained video surveillance outside the home of 77-year-old Ernest Wright at his home on 5th Avenue South. The video shows three black male suspects armed with handguns kicking in the front door and leaving with various items.

The men all had T-shirts covering their faces and gloves on their hands. One was described as heavy set, one had a medium build and the third was skinny.

After they entered the home, one of them held the victims at gunpoint while the other two ransacked the house. They left with a television, DVD player, briefcase, a small amount of cash and other items.

Video was also recorded outside one of the homes involved in the two violent home invasions on June 19.

St. Petersburg Police are asking anyone with information on this case to call the tipline at 727-892-5000 or  the Communications Center at 727-893-7780.
