Spring Hill, Florida -- Instead of taking off with what she got the first time, a woman returned to a Spring Hill Target to steal more during the same visit.
Police say Laura Green, 50, admitted to walking into the Target on Commercial Way, grabbing plastic bags from a vacant register, filling them with various items and walking out of store without paying for them.
She then put the stolen items in the trunk of her car and went back into the store to get pet food and supplies. Once she passed the registers again without paying, she was stopped and detained.
The first round of items stolen totaled $180 and the second came to $103.
Green, of Weeki Wachee, was convicted in 2007, 2008 and April 2012 on theft charges. She now adds two more counts of retail theft to her record. She is currently unemployed.
