Palm Harbor, FL -- Brooks Koepka, who's playing in the Valspar Championship on a sponsor's exemption, had a special guest with him during practice day Tuesday... his younger brother, Chase, a member of the USF golf team.

Brooks Koepka has been playing on the European tour.  He won 3 tournaments on the Challenge Tour last year, which is the European version of the tour.

Brooks was a 3-time All-American at Florida State.

Chase is on the USF golf team, where his coach used to coach at FSU.  The brothers haven't seen each other in awhile.

"He was already trash-talking to me, and we hadn't been on the practice green 2 minutes," Brooks told 10 Sports.

Chase practiced at USF in the morning, then headed to Innisbrook to see his older brother.

"This is the first time I've ever seen him play as a professional," Chase said.  "It's been fun so far, I'm enjoying it."

Brooks Koepka tees off Thursday morning at 9:30, in the first round.
