It's Mardi Gras in New Orleans!

One of America's favorite parties is underway in the Big Easy. The party in the street will end tonight at midnight, as the "season of celebration" concludes with the religious observance of Lent.

Mardi Gras celebrations will be taking place elsewhere across the country, including in Dunedin, where  "Big Mama's Cajun Carnivale" will be rolling through!

Festivities kick off at 5:30 with a free concert at Pioneer Park.

The big parade starts at 7:30, at the Florida Auto Exchange Stadium, and heads north on Douglas Avenue to Skinner Boulevard.

10 News anchor Reginald Roundtree is this year's grand marshal.
