Candlelight vigil held for Andrew Joseph III, teen killed crossing I-4 after fair

Riverview, Florida-- A candlelight vigil was held for 14-year-old Andrew Joseph III Thursday night.

Andrew was killed while running across I-4 after getting kicked out of the state fair last week.

At the vigil, friends and family gathered to remember and honor the football player on the field in Riverview.

"Peewee died with a pure heart, a pure heart," Andrew's father said, addressing the crowd. "He had no sin in him at all. Period. There is not a bad word that is ever going to be said about him." 

A wake is being held for Andrew Friday, and then he will be laid to rest on Saturday.
