Pinellas County, Florida-- Congressional Candidate Alex Sink signed a pledge Thursday, putting Pinellas over politics in her race for the late C.W. Bill Young's Congressional seat.
Sink says she's committed to bringing republicans and democrats together to break the gridlock and get things done in Washington.
Today Sink also responded to recent National Republican Congressional Committee campaign ads attacking her.
"Well, this is exactly what I expected from what I call the 'Rick Scott Republican Mean Machine'," she said. "Things are the same. He is just pulling up the same attacks he's used against me for years, and I'm hoping that this time, the voters will be aware that these are falsehoods, misleading and deceptive."
Sink will now face Libertarian Lucas Overby and Repubilcan David Jolly in the General Election coming up in March.
