Pinellas Park, Florida -- A 40-year-old man paralyzed from the chest down was arrested on Friday after police say he let an intoxicated teen drive his vehicle.
An officer spotted Joseph Price's truck swerving on U.S. 19 without headlights. When the officer stopped the vehicle, he found a juvenile female driver, along with Price and two other juveniles. The driver allegedly smelled of alcohol and told the officer that Price was the owner of the truck and that she didn't have a driver's license.
Another juvenile reportedly lied to officers about her name and date of birth. She was arrested for obstruction.
The driver was arrested for not having a valid driver's license. Price was arrested for allowing an unauthorized person to operate a vehicle and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
