Tampa, Florida -- Tampa Fire Rescue put out a fire early Thursday morning on South Delaware Avenue.
Just before 8 a.m. on December 19, Tampa Fire Rescue crews were dispatched to a structure fire at 110 S. Delaware Ave. Upon arrival, firefighters found a large 2-story home with heavy smoke coming from the roof and second floor of the home.
Crews immediately entered the home to make an attack on the fire and searched for possible occupants inside. There were none, as all made it out prior to Tampa Fire Rescue's arrival.
Crews battled flames for 20 minutes before it was under control. The fire caused significant damage to the Hyde Park home is currently under investigation.
The American Red Cross is assisting the families displaced by the fire. There were no reported injuries.
