Lights repaired at Largo intersection

UPDATE: As of 5 a.m. Monday, the intersection was reopened with lights repaired.  A 10 News investigation is underway as to what factors outside of high winds may have contributed to the lights falling.  

As of Sunday, September 15th: 

LARGO, Florida -- Traffic at the intersection of Starkey and Bryan Dairy Roads in Largo is being diverted after rain caused the traffic lights to detach.

Deputies are directing traffic around the area and are asking drivers to avoid the intersection if at all possible.

The Pinellas Co. Sheriff's Office says repairs could go through the night.
