Accident involving motorcycle and patrol car in Seminole

Seminole, Florida -- A man on a motorcycle crashed into a deputy patrol car in Seminole, no one was seriously injured. 

On Sunday, June 21 around 12:15 a.m., Robert Gold was driving his Harley Davidson south on Seminole Boulevard when he stopped to make a left turn. According to reports, as he began to make the left turn he ran into a Deputy Overton's patrol car. 

Neither Deputy Overton or Gold was seriously injured although Gold did go to a hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. 

Upon release from the hospital, deputies conducted a field sobriety test on Gold. Gold was arrested for DUI and transported to the Pinellas County Jail without further incident.

The investigation continues.
