Video: 2 sought in over 180 storage unit burglaries

 

Town 'N' Country, Florida -- Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office detectives are asking for the public's help in identifying two, Hispanic men responsible for the most recent of five business burglaries in the Town 'N' Country area.

Detectives say since May 29, over 180 storage units have been burglarized in that area.

The surveillance video above is from the Uncle Bob's Storage located in the 8300 block of Hillsborough Avenue. The men seen in the video pried open 72 storage units with a screwdriver, walked through the units and took very few items.

The other cases listed below have been similar:

May 29: 30 units at U Store U Lock, 6207 Hillsborough Ave.

June 7: 11 units at Public Storage, 6286 W. Waters Ave.

June 7: 11 units at People's Storage, 5907 W. Linebaugh Ave.

June 15: 72 units at Uncle Bob's, 8354 W. Hillsborough Ave.

June 15: 65-75 units at Uncle Bob's, 7550 W. Waters Ave.

The two suspects are described below:

Suspect 1: Hispanic male, thin build, 18-24 years of age, short dark hair and 2 large tattoos on right bicep and tricep. He was last seen wearing bracelet on right wrist, black gloves, a white cloth covering his face, a Vans T-shirt, grey basketball shorts and black sneakers.

Suspect 2: Hispanic male, thin build, 18-24 years of age and short dark hair. He was last seen wearing black shorts, black T-shirt, black gloves, a white cloth covering his face and black sneakers.

Anyone with any information reference these suspects is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 247-8200 or anyone with any information regarding the identity and whereabouts of these suspects and who wants to be eligible for a cash reward is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477), report anonymously online at www.crimestopperstb.com or text "CSTB plus your tip" to C-R-I-M-E-S (274637).
